Hey everyone!
As of August 23rd, 2012 at 12:38AM, I turned 17 years old. I am one year closer to becoming an adult, which is a terrifying thought. Yesterday (the 25th) I had a late birthday "party" with a few of my friends...we had chips, soda, and played video games. So pretty much a normal day. Oh, my cake was a giant Mrs. Field's cookie. So good.
From Tuesday to Friday, I was in Ottawa visiting a really close friend of mine. She's my best friend in the entire world (pretty much my sister), and we've known each other for around 16 years now. We had not seen each other in five years, so this "reunion" was very long overdue. Overall, the trip was amazing, and I even had the chance to visit my old neighborhood which has grown a lot. Honestly, the entire trip was the best birthday present I have ever (and will ever) receive.
In other news, my parents gave me an iPhone 4 before I left as an early birthday present. I also realized yesterday that I can now play M for mature games without hiding them from my parents, as I meet the age requirement.
