Hey everyone!
A week or so ago, I finally went out and filled out a job application at the local Tim Horton's. Since then I have called back twice: the first time they expressed interest in seeing my resume, so I printed off a copy and brought it in. A few days ago I called back again, and was informed that the owner of that particular location is the one in charge of hiring, and he still has to look through all the applications.
Meanwhile, I get to play the waiting game. Since this will be my first job, I don't know how long this waiting period will be and at what point I should apply elsewhere. For the time being, I'll keep waiting, as I really would like to get the job.
